Description
Skorpios Technologies, Inc. is hiring a top-level Si Photonics Device Design Engineer to develop high-performance silicon photonic devices and components for data-communications system chips. The role covers optical simulation, thermal modeling, mode matching, design-for-fabrication and manufacturability, layout, characterization, testing, design review, and performance analysis. Candidates need 10+ years of experience, an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field, and strong expertise in optical waveguides, polarization, and photonic device design; Ansys Lumerical, Zemax, Speos, JMP, or Mini-Tab experience is preferred.
