Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM-related field, or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with 0 years of experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of hands-on experience testing and validating silicon photonics devices, RFICs, or optical communication subsystems.
Experience with photonic integrated circuits, RF probes and probe stations, evaluation-board-based optical subsystems, and high-speed electrical and optical measurement equipment.
Experience testing lasers, modulators, photodetectors, and optical interconnect technologies.
Experience developing automated test environments and data collection.
Experience using Python and data analytics tools for characterization and reporting.
Experience with VNA/LCA platforms, AWGs, DCAMs, high-speed oscilloscopes, and optical test equipment.
Experience performing RF probe calibration using calibration substrates and advanced measurement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 100G/lane and 200G/lane PAM4, DSP, RF drivers, TIAs, microcontrollers, DACs, ADCs, power supplies, and SMUs.
Python or C++ software development experience.
Laboratory optical and electrical measurement skills.
Experience using AI tools for code generation, debugging, and deployment.
Expertise in the physics of optoelectronic devices and RFICs.
Demonstrated programming skills for controlling and automating evaluation boards and test instruments.
Ability to create test platforms using optical and electrical measurement equipment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with optical transceiver testing and calibration methodologies.
Understanding of optical transceiver MSA requirements and specifications, including 800G and 1.6T technologies.
