DIS AG is placing a Simulation & Waveform Engineer in Ulm to develop simulation and waveform platforms for complex communication systems. The role involves creating models for signal processing, modems, protocols, and algorithms; developing and integrating software; supporting testing and commissioning; analyzing results; and documenting architecture and interfaces. Candidates need a degree in communications engineering or a comparable field, experience with C/C++, Matlab, Simulink, Python, wireless communications, modem technologies, protocols, and STANAGs, familiarity with embedded Linux and object-oriented development, and strong German and English skills. The position offers permanent employment with a client, €80,000 to €120,000 per year, flexible working time, mobile working, pension contributions, health promotion, bicycle leasing, and parking facilities.
