Description
Helsing is hiring a Simulation Engineer to build and maintain simulation environments for large satellite-constellation mission analysis, including hardware-in-the-loop rigs and software-in-the-loop environments integrated into automated test and release pipelines. The role involves modelling orbital, attitude, sensor, actuator, thermal, and RF dynamics; validating models against test and flight data; supporting mission and system design; and working with partners and suppliers to integrate models and hardware. Candidates should have experience delivering software- and hardware-in-the-loop systems, several years of production-grade software work, strong physics and modelling judgement, and knowledge of Python, Rust, or modern C++.
