The role is responsible for ensuring drives and electronics remain within safe thermal limits from concept through validation. It involves thermal simulation using FEM/CFD, developing cooling and heat-dissipation concepts, deriving thermal requirements and derating strategies, correlating simulations with test-bench measurements, and advising design on thermally optimized layouts. The posting seeks a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics, or a comparable field, experience with thermal simulation tools such as Ansys, Star-CCM+, or FloTHERM, knowledge of heat transfer and fluid mechanics, and an independent, precise working style.
