Metis Technology Solutions is hiring a Software Developer to support high-fidelity, man-in-the-loop, real-time synchronous aircraft and spacecraft simulations for NASA Langley’s Simulation and Aircraft Services task order in Hampton, Virginia. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, 1–5 years of experience with object-oriented design and development, and experience with C++ under Linux. Preferred qualifications include a strong background in mathematics or physics and experience with Rational Rose, Jira, Agile development, C++ under Windows, visual database development, OpenGL, OpenFlight, or GTK 3.0. The position requires excellent communication skills, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and does not require a security clearance.
