Description
Northrop Grumman is hiring a Simulation Software Engineer, Level 3 or 4, to develop spacecraft simulation software for NSS space programs in Dulles, Virginia. The role covers simulation requirements, spacecraft component modeling, integration and validation, real-time operations, mission analysis, visualization, thermosphere and exosphere modeling, and trade studies. It requires a TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and either a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or a master’s degree with 3 years of experience for the Principal level, or a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or a master’s degree with 6 years of experience for the Sr. Principal level. The position is 100% onsite on a 9/80 schedule, with 10% travel, and offers a base salary of $114,000–$171,000 for the Principal level or $142,200–$213,400 for the Sr. Principal level.
