Description
Apex is seeking a Spacecraft Simulation Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week program. The intern will contribute to closed-loop spacecraft test platforms, including six degrees of freedom (6DOF), software-in-the-loop (SITL), and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) systems, and execute simulation testing strategies to validate and verify satellite-system performance, functionality, and reliability. The role requires graduating in the fall of 2026 or spring of 2027, a relevant BS or MS degree, and proficiency in C/C++; experience with modeling and embedded systems is a plus. The internship includes project ownership, mentorship, learning sessions, and community events.
