Description
OneArc is hiring a full-time Systems Architect to serve as the technical focal point or project engineer for a UK Ministry of Defence defence training and simulation programme. The role involves architecting simulation solutions using open standards such as HLA and DIS, providing technical consultancy and decision support, establishing governance for system testing and verification, facilitating stakeholder engagement, mentoring others, and leading delivery with engineering teams. The position requires at least five years of experience in defence simulation systems, a relevant computer science or engineering qualification, systems engineering experience, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and eligibility for UK security clearance. It is based in the Salisbury area with two to three days per week at the customer site and offers flexible working, partial remote work, and other benefits.
