CAE is hiring a Simulator Technician to support the reliability, availability, and readiness of advanced flight simulation training devices at 19 Wing Comox, British Columbia. The role leads maintenance shifts, mentors junior technicians, troubleshoots complex simulator systems, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, conducts qualification testing, coordinates maintenance priorities, and supports engineering modifications and software enhancements. It requires at least three years of simulator maintenance experience, advanced troubleshooting and fault isolation skills, proficiency with soldering and circuit-board repair, and eligibility for a Controlled Goods Program registration and NATO Secret security clearance. The position pays CAD 68,500–102,700 annually and includes group insurance, a defined benefit pension, retirement savings, telemedicine, an employee assistance program, and enhanced parental leave benefits.
