GlobalFoundries is hiring an early-career Electrical Characterization Engineer for its 300mm wafer fab in Malta, New York. The role owns wafer electrical test disposition, inline electrical and optical process control, statistical process control, transistor variability, controlled process changes, and manufacturing ramp support for silicon photonics. The engineer will analyze test and optical data, work with customers on targeting and variability, and collaborate with engineering teams on yield and risk improvements. A bachelor’s degree in circuit design, electrical engineering, or a related technical field is required, while a master’s degree, related experience, project management skills, SPC/DOE knowledge, and semiconductor processing knowledge are preferred.
