Description
The Site Characterization Lead will plan, execute, and technically lead multidisciplinary site characterization for a radioactive waste management program. The role coordinates geoscience, geotechnical, hydrological, environmental, and radiological investigations; oversees field work and laboratory testing; develops site models and design-basis parameters; and integrates results with engineering, safety, environmental, licensing, permitting, and construction activities. A bachelor's degree in a relevant geoscience or engineering discipline is required, while professional status and extensive nuclear or radioactive waste site characterization experience are preferred.
