Description
The employer is hiring an OCS Site Engineer for a 6–12-month, project-based railway infrastructure development. The role supervises field installation of overhead catenary systems, including foundation and mast erection, portal frames, cantilever mounting, wire stringing, tensioning, and final adjustments; oversees inspection and test plans, client inspections, non-conformity resolution, and safety protocols; coordinates with civil, trackwork, signaling, and power-supply teams; and supports progress reporting, electrical continuity testing, insulator checks, and energization readiness. The position requires a degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field, at least 8 years of OCS/OHE installation experience with at least 5 years on commuter rail, heavy rail, or metro projects, and willingness to work shifting or night schedules.
