Description
The Site IT Manager oversees IT support, infrastructure, end-user computing, security, and ticket management for a manufacturing or distribution campus. The role combines hands-on engineering with leadership, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues; managing LAN/WAN, servers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VoIP; leading on-site IT support technicians; planning IT projects; managing vendors; and serving as the liaison between the site and corporate IT teams. Candidates need a strong Windows Server, virtualization, and Active Directory background, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and at least five years of progressive IT experience, including two years managing or leading IT staff.
