Description
The Site Reliability Engineer will support Oracle Analytics Cloud services by improving reliability, availability, performance, operational support, and maturity. The role involves incident response, complex distributed-system troubleshooting, application-code investigation, operational tooling and automation, monitoring, capacity analysis, patching, remediation, release support, and collaboration with development, support, product, and other engineering teams. It includes a follow-the-sun 24x7 operational support model and requires a computer science or engineering degree or equivalent practical experience, cloud and distributed-systems experience, Linux/Unix administration, networking knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills.
