Description
SpaceX is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (Application Software) to deploy, operate, maintain, and scale mission-critical application products and services; manage infrastructure as code and observability; collaborate with software engineers; improve the software development lifecycle; conduct incident response and postmortems; provide end-user support; participate in on-call rotation; and identify performance bottlenecks. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of SRE or DevOps experience, Python and Python-based development experience, and Linux experience. Preferred qualifications include build systems, container and virtualization technologies, databases, infrastructure as code, Terraform or Ansible, cloud infrastructure knowledge, mission-critical systems experience, and full-stack development experience. The position requires extended hours and weekends and offers Level I and Level II base salary ranges of $125,000–$160,000 and $145,000–$195,000 per year, respectively, along with medical, vision, dental, retirement, disability, life, paid leave, and other benefits.
