Description
The client is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in El Segundo, California, on an on-site contract-to-hire basis for $140,000 to $180,000. The role leads the deployment, maintenance, and operations of mission-critical applications and infrastructure supporting spacecraft and company-wide systems, with responsibilities including Infrastructure as Code, cloud and containerized environments, monitoring, observability, performance optimization, reliability improvements, and on-call participation. Required qualifications include a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent Site Reliability/DevOps experience, Terraform or similar IaC, Azure infrastructure, networking, scripting, Linux and Windows support, and troubleshooting skills; preferred qualifications include Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization, monitoring tools, database administration, and experience with highly available production systems.
