Description
Google is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for its Semantic Understanding Platform (SUP) team. The role combines systems and software engineering to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, and capacity of large-scale distributed services, while leading technical strategy, complex cross-team projects, architecture improvements, risk mitigation, and on-call incident response. Candidates may come from SRE Systems Engineering or SRE Software Engineering backgrounds and must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, extensive software development experience, and several years of experience in reliability, distributed systems, project leadership, and SRE work.
