Description
The employer is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for a one-year contract in Berkeley, California, with a possibility of extension. The role monitors and resolves alerts across compute, storage, network, and facility systems; builds automation and monitoring integrations; supports data-center power, cooling, and environmental systems; coordinates maintenance; and resolves complex incidents. The position requires an Owl shift from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., five days per week, hybrid onsite work, Linux and command-line skills, programming experience, network security fundamentals, and strong collaboration skills.
