Description
MTC is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for a client’s cloud engineering team in Tokyo, Japan. The role maintains and operates Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure, builds monitoring and reliability solutions, automates engineering and operations workflows, participates in on-call rotations, and resolves escalated production issues. Candidates need at least four years of SRE, DevOps, or related experience, along with public cloud, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code experience. The position is a fixed-term contingent assignment from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027, with onsite work three days per week and remote work on the remaining days. It is open only to candidates residing in Japan, with no relocation support or visa sponsorship.
