Description
Specter is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to own the operational health of its connected sensor platform, which includes a live fleet of edge hardware deployed at customer sites and the cloud infrastructure supporting it. The role covers triaging and recovering Linux-based sensor nodes, building fleet-management and OTA systems, automating operational toil, and establishing observability across edge devices and AWS. Candidates should have strong Linux systems administration, edge or on-premises hardware experience, networking fundamentals, scripting or programming ability, and familiarity with containerization; embedded systems, cloud, and low-level firmware experience are advantageous.
