Description
Backcountry is hiring a remote Site Reliability Engineer in Costa Rica to ensure the reliability, performance, scalability, and resiliency of its online platform across a multi-cloud stack. The role partners with software engineering, DevOps, and IT operations teams; owns end-to-end incident resolution, automation, observability, capacity planning, and on-call support; and uses AI-assisted engineering tools, GitOps, Kubernetes, and scripting to improve production systems. Candidates need at least three years of experience with containerized production services, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, Linux, observability, and related technologies, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
