The role focuses on monitoring, alerting, cloud infrastructure, incident management, automated remediation, performance and scalability improvements, platform adoption, and mentoring engineers. It requires 10+ years of experience architecting and engineering large-scale distributed applications and services, including complex AI-powered production systems, object-oriented programming, cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure, and microservices. The role may be hybrid, office-based, or remote depending on the team.
