Description

The Site Reliability Engineer I supports the reliability, availability, and operational health of KFC production systems and applications. The role monitors and troubleshoots production environments, improves observability, contributes to automation and cloud infrastructure, participates in incident response and on-call rotations, and supports deployments and operational improvements. It requires 1–3+ years of relevant technical experience, cloud and observability experience, Linux and networking knowledge, containerization and infrastructure-as-code familiarity, and strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills. The salary range is 95,700–120,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 1–3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, infrastructure, application support, software engineering, or a related technical role
1+ year of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute and networking concepts
1+ year of experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Elastic, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana
1+ year of experience with Incident and Problem Management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or Incident.io
Experience with containerized environments and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or EKS
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or REST APIs
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including GitLab
