Description
Guidewire is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer III to support the reliability, performance, scalability, and availability of applications on its Guidewire Cloud Platform. The role involves troubleshooting incidents, developing automated runbooks, improving monitoring and observability, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and participating in mandatory on-call rotations. Required skills include software engineering with Python, Go, or Java; SLI/SLO and error-budget design; distributed-systems troubleshooting; CI/CD and Kubernetes; Datadog monitoring; AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure management with Terraform; and GitOps or configuration-management tools. Preferred qualifications include SRE and AWS certifications, SQL and database experience, CI/CD pipeline tools, and distributed-systems expertise.
