The Site Reliability Engineering Manager leads Software/Systems Engineers and owns the availability, performance, scalability, and efficiency of key Google services. Responsibilities include building automation, managing on-call rotations across continents, mentoring engineers, and delivering software that improves service reliability. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, and experience managing people, leading projects, and designing distributed systems. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with algorithms and large-scale system design, and programming in Python or Go. The Ireland location offers €150,000–€153,000 plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
