Description
The Site Safety Manager reports to the Safety & Health Program Manager and enforces company safety programs and federal, state, and local health and safety standards across job sites. The role administers safety training, monitors compliance, maintains safety metrics, investigates incidents and near misses, conducts site audits and observations, identifies hazards, responds to emergencies, and reports safety trends. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a BS degree in safety or a related field, five years of construction safety experience, OSHA 500 trainer authorization, OSHA 30 certification, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel extensively.
