Description

Apollo Mechanical National Projects Division is hiring a Site Safety Representative in Los Alamos, New Mexico, to coordinate and administer site safety programs for a construction project. The role supports assigned operating units through training and permitting, incident investigations, emergency response, site inspections, corrective-action tracking, job safety analysis, documentation, and safety leadership. Candidates must have relevant safety, health, environmental, or emergency-response experience, a qualifying degree or professional certification, and strong knowledge of OSHA and DOE safety requirements. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Associate, bachelor's, or master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field such as Occupational Health, Environmental or Safety Sciences.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 6 months of experience in safety, health, environmental, or emergency response.
Five years of construction experience with safety, health, or environmental protection as the primary function.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification such as ASP, CSP, or CIH.
Experience in a Category II nuclear operating facility.
Knowledge of DOE safety and industrial hygiene procedures.
Experience interpreting federal safety and industrial hygiene regulations.
Industrial hygiene exposure assessment.
