Description
The Site Supervisor leads and supports all center staff in an Early Head Start or Head Start program, working with the Component Manager and reporting to the Head Start Director. Responsibilities include monitoring staff performance, reviewing program records, supervising services for children and families, inspecting facilities and vehicles, recruiting and orienting employees, maintaining compliance with Head Start and state regulations, coordinating with community agencies, and supporting transportation and child safety requirements. The role requires a CDA or related early childhood education degree, Head Start or comparable early childhood program experience, supervisory experience, human services management experience, computer and management information systems experience, a Missouri Chauffeur’s License, and successful background and drug screenings.
