NEXCOM is hiring a Distribution General Manager intern under the DoD Skill Bridge program to plan, direct, and optimize purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and distribution operations at a local warehouse. The role leads distribution-center staff, monitors KPIs, improves processes, integrates automation and warehouse-management technologies, manages inventory and shipments, ensures compliance and safety, and coordinates with cross-functional teams. The internship is unpaid, requires an Interim Secret Security Clearance, HazMat training within 90 days, and ten years of relevant Navy logistics experience; it is based at NEXCOM’s headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
