Description
The Skilled Carpenter performs construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures, including architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings. The role involves measuring and cutting lumber, reviewing blueprints, using power and manual tools, completing quality work, performing heavy physical labor, and following safety and supervisory instructions. On-the-job training is offered, and applicants must be at least 18, able to perform basic math, work outdoors for prolonged periods, and lift 40 pounds at a time.
