Description
The Skilled Construction Worker performs skilled construction activities across concrete, structural steel erection, welding, millwrighting, and carpentry. The role includes reading blueprints, preparing and assembling materials, erecting structures, installing trim and hardware, leveling and finishing concrete, rigging and hoisting materials, assembling machinery, and serving as a lead to laborers and construction workers when a foreman or superintendent is absent. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, four years of construction-related experience in two or more trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with physical work involving lifting, climbing, and exposure to construction-site hazards.
