The Durable Slate Company is hiring a Skilled Trade Worker to assist with the installation and repair of slate, tile, and metal roofing systems on historic buildings, churches, and specialty structures. The role includes hands-on roofing and restoration training, crew support, materials handling, and site work, with no prior roofing experience required. Candidates should be reliable, comfortable working outdoors and at heights, able to lift 50 pounds, and willing to travel for projects. The position offers year-round work, paid training, $20–$40+ per hour, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits after 90 days, plus travel support, overtime, and performance bonuses.
