Description
The Slitter Helper supports safe and efficient slitting operations by assisting the Slitter Operator with line preparation, coil handling, quality monitoring, banding, material handling, packaging preparation, and production documentation. The role requires attention to safety, quality, environmental, and housekeeping standards, teamwork, physical work in a fast-paced industrial environment, and the ability to work rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience are preferred, with steel-processing experience considered an asset. The base pay is CAD 33.88 per hour, with eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.
