Description
Pregis is hiring a full-time Slitter Machine Operator to set up and operate slitting machines that cut protective-film rolls to documented specifications and perform winding or rewinding as needed. The role is based at the Conover, North Carolina facility, reports to the Production Manager, and follows a 2-2-3 day-and-night schedule with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include machine setup, blade installation, quality monitoring, production data entry in SAP, safety and housekeeping, and participation in continuous-improvement initiatives. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience operating production or converting equipment are required; prior slitting experience, SAP knowledge, and English/Spanish bilingual ability are preferred. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour, with potential advancement to $32 per hour.
