Description
The Slitter Operator operates and sets up a slitting line, selects and installs knives, rubbers, and tooling, aligns steel coils, monitors machine performance, checks finished-product quality, maintains production records, troubleshoots operational issues, and directs Slitter Helpers. The role requires rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and at least two to three years of slitting-line or related manufacturing experience. The base pay is CAD 37.21 per hour, with eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.
