Description
The SLS Instructor provides one-on-one individual instruction and training to support people with developmental disabilities, helping them develop independence in employment, communication, mobility, education, money management, self-help, safety, community resources, health, nutrition, home maintenance, self-advocacy, living options, and benefit planning. The role requires at least six months of direct field supervision with this population, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, first aid/CPR training, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for eight hours at a time.
