Description
The Industrial Journeyman Carpenter will construct, dismantle, and repair wooden and metal objects and concrete forms; read blueprints and specifications; measure, mark, and cut materials; build wooden forms and miscellaneous structures; and maintain safe, clean work areas. The role requires at least four years of carpentry or carpenter-helper experience on industrial construction projects, blueprint-reading ability, knowledge of building materials and form construction, basic arithmetic, and the ability to work full schedules and overtime. The position reports to no direct supervisor but may oversee helper and labor positions.
