Description
The Small Engine Service Technician diagnoses and repairs two-cycle, four-cycle, and small diesel engines, including lawn mowers, utility vehicles, and compact tractors. The role also maintains vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment; uses parts-lookup and diagnostic computer systems; follows safety rules; and accounts for time and materials. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prefers two or more years of service-repair experience and an associate degree, and may require overtime, Saturdays, and field work.
