Description
The Smart Home Consultant guides residential customers through in-home security and smart-home consultations, recommends and installs security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart-home products, integrates them with existing systems, troubleshoots technical issues, completes onboarding and product education, and identifies upsell opportunities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, strong customer communication, technical aptitude with connected technologies, and the ability to climb, lift 10 or more pounds, and work indoors and outdoors. Compensation includes hourly pay, uncapped commissions, job-completion pay, quality bonuses, referral incentives, and training pay of $320 per week for the first three weeks, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
