Description
The Smart Home Consultant guides residential customers through in-home security and smart-home consultations, recommends and installs security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart-home products, integrates them with existing systems, troubleshoots technical issues, completes onboarding and product education, and identifies upsell opportunities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, strong customer communication, technical aptitude with connected technologies, and the ability to climb, lift 10 or more pounds, and work indoors and outdoors. Compensation is $15.30 per hour, with uncapped commissions and an average annual earning potential of $105,000, plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, a company vehicle, and other benefits.
