Description
The Smelter operates and monitors melting furnaces, melts and alloys metals according to specifications, checks melting parameters and material quality, takes samples, documents production data, performs equipment maintenance and cleaning, and ensures compliance with occupational safety, environmental, and quality regulations. The role requires vocational training in metalworking or several years of smelter experience, technical understanding of production equipment, shift work, and a responsible, independent working style; a forklift or overhead crane license is an advantage.
