Description
GlobalFoundries is hiring an experienced Field Application Engineer to serve as the customer-facing technical interface for semiconductor customers in Taiwan/APAC. The role drives design wins, technology evaluations, design-in support, tapeout readiness and execution, MPW/test-chip planning, silicon functionality verification, and post-tapeout customer engineering activities. It requires semiconductor technology or design experience, end-to-end concept-to-silicon-validation experience, IC product and IP exposure, familiarity with design enablement flows and tools, knowledge of silicon processing and device physics, strong communication and sales aptitude, and substantial project management and analytical skills.
