Delaware Department of Transportation Maintenance & Operations is hiring casual/seasonal Snow and Ice Maintenance Program CDL/Non-CDL Equipment Operator I workers for the 2026/2027 winter season to support snow and ice removal by operating trucks, loaders, and related equipment in New Castle and Kent Counties. The role requires a valid driver's license, age 18+, and knowledge or experience with snow and ice control; CDL applicants must hold a valid CDL and medical card, pass drug testing and a criminal background check, and meet federal motor carrier medical and driving requirements. The position is scheduled as needed, including weekends and holidays, and is non-pension eligible with no healthcare or other benefits, and no employment-based sponsorship is provided.
