Description

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is hiring a SOA System Architect for its Mercedes-Benz Digital Tech Ltd. organization in Shanghai, China. The role focuses on leading vehicle on-board service-oriented architecture design, defining communication protocols and governance, coordinating cross-domain and cross-functional collaboration, driving SOA adoption in mass-production vehicle programs, and aligning designs with automotive safety, cybersecurity, and development process standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21434, V-model, and ASPICE.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer science, automation, mechatronics, vehicle engineering, electronics, or software.
Required Previous Experiences: Around 10 years of experience in automotive electronics or software architecture, including at least 3 years focused on SOA or distributed system architecture design.
Hands-on experience delivering SOA solutions on mass-production vehicle programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with automotive development processes such as V-model and ASPICE.
Strong English and Chinese communication skills.
Technical leadership experience leading architecture teams.
Familiarity with agile work processes.
Experience with cross-domain integrated architectures and communication system design.
Experience defining service APIs and establishing API governance.
Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR Adaptive and Classic platforms.
