Description
Google is hiring an SoC Architect to lead the architecture of a first-generation product family of scalable, energy-efficient IO SoCs. The role bridges high-level system requirements and detailed chip implementation, covering multi-chiplet connectivity, chip partitioning, interconnects, clock distribution, power domains, and subsystem integration. The architect will own the SoC architecture specification through product lifecycle, evaluate performance, power, schedule, and cost tradeoffs, and collaborate with IP, design, verification, firmware, security, and other teams. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and five years of experience leading high-performance SoC architecture, with multi-chiplet, SoC, and architecture-specification experience; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, functional safety, and security architecture experience. The role is based in Tel Aviv or Haifa, Israel, and typically requires in-person interviews.
