Description

The Social Performance Manager at Atuabo Freeport will oversee the implementation of social management plans, focusing on proactive risk management, operationalization of HSSE&SP plans, and mitigation of risks to improve HSE performance. Key responsibilities include leading the HSSE&SP team, reviewing assessments, coordinating pollution control, auditing performance, promoting awareness, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to the HSSE&SP Control Framework. The role involves significant internal and external coordination, contributing to the successful management of the freeport's social license to operate.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 10 years of management experience working within a HSSE & social performance role in the field with experience in port developments.
Experience in developing and embedding HSSE & social performance standards within and organization and then monitoring and auditing the application of these.
Experience in developing and executing social investment and community development projects and in managing large scale, high impact, strategic development programmes.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
Well-established contacts with international and Ghanaian experts in the field.
