Description
The Social Services Program Manager plans, organizes, and directs the operations of a Child Welfare Services and/or Adult Protective Services program in a local public social services department or agency. The role supervises program supervisors and staff, monitors service quality and compliance, develops policies and procedures, supports budgeting, coordinates with external agencies, and serves as an internal and external technical expert. It requires one year of full-time experience comparable to a Social Worker Supervisor I or II and a master's degree in Social Work or a two-year counseling program. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and is associated with the Merced County eligible list.
