Description
The Social Specialist will identify, analyze, and manage social impacts for the design and construction of three strategic bridges in Haiti. The role includes conducting social assessments, public consultations, socioeconomic surveys, land-acquisition and resettlement analyses, preparation of Resettlement Action Plans and other social instruments, analysis of impacts on vulnerable groups, integration of gender and social inclusion, contribution to Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, and coordination with local authorities and affected communities. The specialist must be based in Haiti and travel regularly to the Ouest, Nippes, and Sud-Est departments.
