Description
The Social Work Program Administrator oversees social work services for adults and children in Nash County, including a staff of 17, direct supervision of two Social Work Supervisor IIIs and one Administrative Assistant II, and coordination with other program administrators, directors, and community organizations. The role plans and supports service delivery, participates in staffing and agency planning, handles grievances and discipline, develops structured interviews, contributes to budgeting and organizational design, and provides consultation and supervision. It requires regular Monday-through-Friday hours with after-hours on-call coverage, and includes emergency shelter and disaster-task duties. The position reports to the Deputy Director and requires a master's degree in social work with four years of experience including two supervisory years, or an alternative bachelor's-degree and experience pathway; a North Carolina driver's license and automobile liability insurance are also required.
